<p>I love people but hate their drama and its discomfort.    I&#8217;m sorry people have discomfort and drama, but my feeling it doesn&#8217;t help them.  It does actually, because it should stimulate you to help them&#8230;why does that feel so uncomfortable?  It&#8217;s unfortunate I also have my own discomforts to work on.  It would be great if I could just handle all the discomfort effortlessly.</p>

<p><strong>About the Show:</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;The Source of Self-Regard&#8221; is a multi-disciplinary arts exhibition named after a collection of essays, speeches, and meditations by the late Toni Morrison, the intention of this exhibition is to hold space and highlight the voices of black women, femme, and nonbinary creatives. The show will will run for 2 months at the idea garden in Kingston NY to coincide with both <a href="https://www.facebook.com/blackhistorymonthkingston/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Black History Month Kingston</a> and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/womenshistorymonthkingston/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Women&#8217;s History Month Kingston</a>.</p>

<p><strong>Participant Details:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Show will be up from February 1st until March 22nd.</li>
<li>The gallery will be open with a reception <strong>First Saturdays</strong> in February and March (2/1 &amp; 3/7) from 4 &#8211; 7pm <strong>and by appointment</strong>.</li>
<li>Drop off of artwork needs to be scheduled for Thursdays &#8211; Sundays in early January.  All artwork will ideally be received by Sunday, January 19th.</li>
<li>Unsold artwork will need to be picked up March 22nd or March 26th &#8211; 29th.</li>
<li>There will be no fee to apply or have your art hung for this show.</li>
<li>90% of art sales will go to the artist for this show.</li>
<li>We do our utmost to protect the art and have some insurance in the event of a catastrophe, still we can&#8217;t guarantee we can completely cover your costs if your pieces become damaged and therefore we do require all exhibiting artists to sign a <a href="https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WmJ3-KhkU-2xT7h7IJ8b08317wh3pang" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hold Harmless agreement</a>.</li>
