Event Description:
The Current’s Currency Show will feature the latest designs of the 1, 5, 10 and 20 Current bills that will be released later this year. The beautiful local currency highlights local animals, their habitats, and little facts about them. In addition to the framed bills being displayed, the artistic bills of other local currencies will be hung—including Berkshares, Ithaca Hours, and Brixton Pounds. Come learn about the mid-Hudson Valley’s local currency while sipping drinks and snacking on a variety of local bites. Reception is Saturday, August 3, 4-7pm. The art will hang throughout the month of August.
